This year we went to Fusiondary, the Fusion Music Festival for the second time. It was an amazing time. During the festival, students in Fusions from all over Europe get a chance to showcase their talents. During the event we have seminars and workshops, where they can learn a variety of skills including life and relationship skills. During the evenings there is a time of worship and a main talk leading to the gospel being shared. A large percentage of the young people there are not believers and some of them heard the gospel for the first time. On Saturday night, the room was filled with hands raised acknowledging that they wanted to give their lives to Christ. Hallelujah! All of the program is voluntary so none of the kids feel that we are shoving God down their throats, if they don’t want to hear it, they don’t need to be there. Almost all stay for every event.
I loved being able to spend time with our students getting to know them better and encourage them. Many of them were nervous about performing on the stage, some of them were doing it for the first time in such a big venue. They really performed well! I will be posting a video soon from our concert and will send out a link, but for now, here is a glimpse. I also had some great times with all the guys I disciple, who were there. I am really thankful that God has surrounded me with so many young guys, and given me the chance to impact them. I pray that God will continue to use me and that I walk in Him as I lead these young men and point them toward Christ!
