As we mentioned in our previous posts, we have decided to take the time to invest in leaders in our youth group. Every month we take 2 weeks to invest in our leaders while the remaining two we dedicate to having actual youth group meetings. This month we started studying the foundations of our faith and it has been extremely encouraging to see our leaders grow in their personal faith but also leadership skills. We have even had a couple of them have the main talk at youth groups. It truly is amazing to see them be poured into and them pouring it out with the skills God has gifted them. All these meetings have been happening on ZOOM since we are still not able to meet in person, even in small groups. We know the students are tired of being on ZOOM, but it is encouraging to see them still show up and push through even though everyone is dying to be together. God is still moving mountains and working in the lives of the students and us. 🙂
