The last weeks in the U.S. were bitter sweet for me. I really enjoyed my time this summer with my family and seeing many dear friends. As I left, one of the great things I had the pleasure to experience was moving my sister into her new house. I also had one last opportunity to go down to Indy to visit Tim and Kelsey (my new sister-in-law). We had my grandfather and Aunt over for a last supper before I left. I also had the pleasure of hearing the announcement of our new Pastor at Blackhawk! What a blessing!
I was so grateful that I was in the States when Becca found a house and bought it. It was great to be with her in the process and be able to help her move in, clean, and fix different things. I am so blessed to have a sister like her and I was glad I had the opportunity to bless her in that way. The funny thing was that God just happened to set me up with a pick-up truck for the summer, that became very helpful for moving her in. I love little blessings like that! Please pray for Becca to be safe and enjoy her new house!
My time with Tim and Kelsey was such a blessing as well. It was fun to interact with them as a married couple. Tim and I went on a bike ride all around Indy while Kelsey was working and spent some good brother time. In the evening Kelsey came home and we spent the whole evening talking and laughing together. I also was served one of the best salmons I have ever had, they are quite the cooks! Please pray for them as they continue to adjust to married life.
