This last weekend we had our first youth group camp with our 5o5 students. We went up to a cabin and spent the weekend playing games, fellowshipping, worshiping God, and studying young people who made a difference in the Bible. I really enjoy these young people and feel honored that God has called me to help lead them towards Him. I had the pleasure of being the speaker at the camp. I love the opportunity to share with young people, what God has taught me, and to inspire them to follow Him more and more. Since the theme was young people who made a difference, I spoke about young people, both in History and the Bible, who made a difference. I then challenged them to spend time with God in prayer and ask Him what He wants them to do now to make a difference in those around them. The next day we talked about how groups of young people made a difference in History and in the Bible. After the talk they met in small groups to discuss and find ways our group could make a difference in Banska Bystrica. Many of these Kids have been believers for a year or more. It is fun for them to be challenged in this way to grow and not just be “good people.” Thank God for this time and the relationships that were built. Please pray this group will continue to grow in Christ!
