This summer we have the most interns we have had for Fusion Slovakia, 6 interns. They have been serving very well through June so I decided to take them on a short trip to Budapest, as a little break in the middle of the summer. It was a great time to connect with them. I had some time the second day, we were there, to invest in the two Intern guys, Brayden and Austin. I am so glad for these two guys! They are so passionate about serving God and the people of Slovakia. It blesses my heart to spend time with them. Not only have we had the time to study the Bible together, I have had the opportunity to speak into their lives. They have also really impacted my life. It has been good to have two American guys around with me this summer.
Budapest is a great experience in itself, but one of the bonuses for us, was being able to have Chipotle’s. Mexican food is not very common over here, so when we can get it, we take advantage of it. The weather during the time was also perfect, not too hot and not too cold. One of the great things I am glad the interns had the opportunity to experience was the Synagogue. It is one of the few left in this region and has a deep history. It survived the Nazi’s and Soviet’s over the last 100 years, which is pretty amazing! Please pray for our interns as they continue to serve this summer and go back home!
