This year’s KPM Youth leaders conference was really amazing.  The theme was the upside down kingdom.  The idea is that the kingdom of God is upside down from the world and what makes sense to most people.  The natural response and way to live for us, is not the way of the Kingdom, but the way of the world.  The cool thing, is what seems upside down to the world, is really right side up because it is the way God designed us to actually live.  Dave Patty the President of JV as the main speaker of the conference.  He spoke the whole time in Czech.  I had the opportunity to have a meal with him and was really encouraged to start speaking more in Slovak when I teach or preach.

I am excited about what God was doing in the lives of nearly 700 young youth leaders from Slovakia and Czech.  It is great that through KPM we have the opportunity to impact them and their local ministries!

My main role this year is the same as it has been in the past.  I was the main coordinator of the sound for the whole conference.  This is a pretty big task, but I had a lot of great guys working together with me on it.  My team shown in the picture below, is an incredible team.  These guys are not only incredibly competent when it comes to mixing sound, they also have such a great presence.  They are filled with Joy and Peace as they work.  I am amazed that even in tight situations, they are smiling, joking with each other, and encouraging one another.  God has really worked in these young men’s lives and is continuing to work. Please pray for them, Timo, Jano, David, and Milos!  Also pray that the young leaders who attended this conference would continue to be impacted by what they learned and will be living it out in their lives.
