This August I had the opportunity to go and visit Spain with two of my JV friends Josh and David. It was quite the experience and I was able to remember some of my Spanish from High School. While we were there, we visited Barcelona, Cordoba, and Seville. They are all very beautiful cities in their own light. I really enjoyed this vacation because it was a good mix of relaxation, Adventure, Fellowship, History, and Trains. In Barcelona we saw the historical city and the Familia Sagrada, which is a modern Cathedral designed by Gaudi. In Cordoba we saw a Cathedral Mosque, which went back and forth between Muslims and Catholics during the Crusades. In Seville, we saw the biggest Gothic Cathedral in the world. As I look at these structures and their awesomeness, I am reminded how much bigger and more awesome the God is, who they were built for. I am thankful that God provided such an opportunity for me to grow alongside my brothers and get to see some really cool history in the process. I am thankful for some much needed rest after such a busy summer of camps! Praise God that He always knows what we need!
