This last weekend we combined both the Fusion interns and KECY interns along with the Polohas and Rumbolds and went up to the mountains for the weekend. It was really a great oppertunity to get to know each other better. In the past we have gone to places like Praha or Budapest. Although it is fun to go see the big cities, I believe that this was more fun and more advantages for building relationships and resting. During the weekend we cooked out and worshiped together. Some people went hiking and others stayed back and played games. On Saturday we took a ride on an old steam train through the mountains, which I loved of course! This was really fun as we were able to see great scenery and have a very Slovak experience. At the end of the train ride there was a museum about the history of the railroads and the lumber industry in Slovakia. On Sunday morning we shared what we had been learning over the past weeks with each other. This is something I really like to do. So often we just go to church and here one person speak on the Bible. It is really great when you have the oppertunity to hear from others, what God is doing in their lives. It adds to the richness of the Body of Christ. Please be praying for the interns throughout the rest of the summer!
