This last week I had the honor of serving at the Josiah Venture Kids Camp. The Kids camp is something that happens once a year. All of the JV Missionary Kids between 8-18 attend this camp. It is a great opportunity for them to come and spend time with other American kids and to grow in their walk with God. I was asked to help with the older two boys in the Jr.’s group (8-12). Above is a picture of the two guys Jayce Rumbold and Gavin Chase. It was a fun week spending time with them and building in to their lives. It is exciting to me that they both happen to live in Slovakia, so I will be able to have more chances throughout the year to connect with them. The whole week was just a blast. It was so relaxing after the summer of camps. It was fun for me to be at a camp where I knew everyone understood my English 🙂 It was also great to be among a group that felt like Family. This is what I love most about Josiah Venture is that it is not an organization but a Family to me. I felt like all the kids at the camp were my nieces and nephews. As God lays it on your heart please pray for these two boys and the other kids who are growing up in a different culture and are constantly challenged in their faith at School.
1 Timothy 4:12
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
