Well yesterday my summer interns left.  It was a relief that the craziness of the summer was over, but also sad to see them go.  We spent the end of the summer celebrating the summer in Vienna.  One of the neat things we did in Vienna was to go for a ride in the world famous Vienna Ferris wheel.  As you can see in the pictures above the compartments are quite big and you can have a meal or just drinks and desert as you ride around and partake of the beautiful skyline of Vienna.  I believe it was a good end to the summer for the interns.  One of the things that we did this summer, that was new, was to have evaluations of the interns.  I was rather nervous about doing these at first, but they ended up being really great opportunities to encourage the interns in their growth and ministries!  I am grateful that God walked with me all summer as I led the interns.  I felt his presence and truly believe things would have been a lot worse in terms of how I led, if He was not with me.  Please pray for each of the interns as the adjust to life back home!  Their names are: Seth, Krystal, Rebekah, Ryan, JoDee, Jordan, Miriam, Andrew, and David (in order of the picture above).
