My summer interns arrived two weeks ago and we have been participating in training and an Amazing race with the Josiah Venture interns across Europe. Many of you have probably seen the Amazing Race on TV. Our race is similar but intern teams compete against each other and the ultimate goal is that the teams grow closer and learn how to work together and overcome problems in the group. Above our pictures of two parts of the race. The first is the food challenge which was that everyone should eat three pieces of blood sausage, which is the pig of meat boiled in blood and is a traditional meal for Poland. The second picture was a task where the team had to convince a polish person to read them a child’s story in Polish. My team did well and ended up coming in fourth place. After this we went to intern training, where the interns learned more about what it means to be an intern. We also learned about the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives and how to hear the Spirit we have to know His voice, and we know that by reading the Word.
My arm is almost fully healed, but I am still experiencing some tiredness and headaches still from my injury. Thank you for your prayers!
Psalm 98:4
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
