Exit tour ended this Saturday with some great things that happened over the week.  At the concert on Friday we had around 220 students.  This was the smallest number they have had on Exit tour, but this was not discouraging.  Where we lacked in numbers we made up for in quality.  These students heard the gospel, many of them for the first time!  Not only that but we made contact with over 1500 students throughout the week.  On Saturday we had an after party which allowed students to come and  hang out with us and allowed the local churches to connect them to their youth groups.  Almost all of the students from the concert came to the after party and hopefully most of them are now connected with one of the youth groups!  One of the things I am very glad for is the strengthening of the youth groups.  Banska Bystrica is a hard city spiritually and I think many of the churches had almost given up on the community.  Exit tour connected them and strengthened them together.  It makes me think of the verse in the Bible about how many strands are not easy to break.  I believe this new found connection between the churches has strengthened their resolve and encouraged them that together we can change this town for Christ.  I think that the change in Banska Bystrica has only just begun!

The second thing that happened because of Exit Tour is that our Fusion had the opportunity to perform twice in front of 300 people total.  This was really great for our students to get this experience and for the community to see Fusion and what we are doing here.  I was also glad that our students had the opportunity to stay and hear the gospel presentation at the concert.  Many of them are thinking about God now!

Ecclesiastes 4:12

And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
