This week has been pretty eventful. On Wednesday we had our fifth Fusion and it was really great! It was the last rehearsal before the Christmas Concert this coming week (which you can pray for). The students were really excited and were working hard preparing for this upcoming concert, which will basically be an oppertunity for their parents to come and preview what their children are doing in Fusion. It is really fun to have an energretic rehearsal, although it is hard to sleep after it. 🙂 On Thursday, two guys from the group came over to my apartment to record a song they wrote. These guys are shown above. They are really neat guys and really seem to like hanging out with me. I am hoping that God will continue to give me opportunities to share his love with them as we continue to record and do other activities. The third picture here was something that warmed my heart. One of the girls from fusion added (LoveFusion) to her name on Facebook. This is kind of funny but also really encouraging to see that the young people are liking Fusion so much! The group picture is from an action (The Slovak way of saying activity) that we had on Saturday. We were going to make a music video for the concert, but it turned into a video of us doing fun things around town and talking about what we like about Fusion. When we invited the students on Wednesday only two told me they would come, but on Saturday nine showed up. It was really a lot of fun! I am preparing to leave on Monday morning to pick up my friend Tim Keaton, who many of you know. He will be staying with me throughout the holiday season, which I have been looking forward to! Please pray for the students in Fusion and also for our concert next week!
